Today, I had the great pleasure in presenting the AdvocacyNT Community Appreciation Award to Dr Marcus Ilton a true community champion.
Dr Ilton established Cardiac Services in Darwin and the Top End of the Northern Territory and has over 15 years of experience in delivery of cardiac services to regional and remote Indigenous communities in the Northern Territory.
Dr Ilton’s commitment to cardiac care for all people in the Northern Territory is exceptional in his roles at Royal Darwin Hospital and Darwin Private Hospital.
The community that has been his care appreciate his bedside manner and his easy understand explanations.
